 Kit not included Microneedling is a machine based treatment, dozens of needles pierce the skin creating minuscule channels in the dermis layer motivating the skin to heal itself, as it stimulates the creation of new collagen.Collagen is a protein that provides our skin with structure, holding all the skin cells together. It also gives the skin a smoother and younger appearance. The more we age the more fine lines and wrinkles we get, this is due to the breakdown of collagen. Additionally, Microneedling treats pores, loss of elasticity, sun damage, fine wrinkles and minor scaring including acne scars. It also aids topical products to infiltrate deeper into the skin increasing its efficiency. This course includes free LED Light Therapy training which are extremely popular and effective treatments that can treat all skin concerns. Easily added onto any facial for extra profit with minimal extra time and preparation. We will talk you through the different colour light therapies, how to consult your clients, how to advertise this treatment and demonstrate how to use the machine. *Be aware This course is aimed for qualified Beauty therapist level 2 if you are not NNQ or equivalent you will only be able to do mobile treatments. Important: check with your local council that you will be able to work in your borough with this certificate. What I will learn: THEORY: - What is skin needling - Structure skin - Physiology of skin - Who is not suitable for skin needling - Disposal of treatment waste - Pre-treatment advice - Treatment procedure - Aftercare and consultation - Health & safety - Laws & regulations - Benefits of skin needling - Consultation - Waste disposal - Council treatment license and general hygiene and insurance PRACTICAL: - Tutor Demonstration of full skin needling treatment - Students will work on live models to carry out the full treatment CASE STUDIES: After completing 2 case studies, you will receive your accredited certificate so that you are able to gain insurance straight away. MODELS: No models needed on this course, you will perform the treatment on each other. However, if you cannot have the treatment please try to find your own model or if you are doing a 1 on 1 training. COURSE KIT: Not provided
